3 Steps to Control Your Mind
Health; For healthy body, workout 1 hour out of 24 hour, only 4%, real workout with sweat, otherwise you will become a liability. This is lame excuse; I don't have time. Laziness, looking at people who do exercises is short term gratification resulting long term suffering. But real benefit is in action and execution. It's the right thing to use the fit vehicle, instead of parking it carelessly. Exercise means pushing your limits, with sweet pain. Brain doesn't know anything. You have to deal with it just like a child. No need to fight, just deal with it intelligently. Make it crave to do the things which you want to do. Peaceful brain needs healthy body.
Intellect; planning, risk, opportunities, unbiased analysis. This is logical part. Logic come from knowledge.
Execution needs energy. Energy comes from emotions. Here logic doesn't play the role. Life is mostly driven by emotions. Emotions have biological foundation. That's why they are so strong. Habits, like and dislike, drive emotions. Addictions (habits) generate some sensations. This is child-like behavior. Solution; by nature, we do things which give us satisfaction. Emotions are based on stories, mostly fake. Plug-in new stories. Fighting is not option. Swim with flow. For your brain make stories containing satisfaction and fear. Even right now life is based on fictions, fake stories. Add some more fictions deliberately for your goodness. Don't worry, many people around us are even more miserable than us. Repeat new fictions again and again for your brain. Sometimes, make plan to visit hospital, physically. Show your emotional brain, the results. By the time your brain will start believing your new stories.
Stupidity; keep on going following baseless traditions. This is suffocating, unpleasant, just going, way of living; junk food, laziness.
Intelligent; develop new stories - dreams. Following successful people. Here is conflict, fight with emotions. Child doesn't care what will be after 2 years.
Super-Intelligent; most practical way. Feel actual life enjoyment in that 1 hour of exercise. You are preparing yourself for healthy, enjoyable life, not sick life in hospital. This is life, this is enjoyment. Just presume consistently even fake. Self talk with belief even fake in the start. This is habit development, doing and enjoying, emotional brain is walking side by side. Now this new emotional brain exercise will take the control.
