Roman Emperor Advises

Marcus Aurelius
a) Judging someone does not define who they are; it defines who you are.
A lack of healthy self-love leaves us feeling ashamed and alone. Over time, a lack of self-love can lead to depression, anxiety, loneliness, and a sense of emptiness. We know that not loving ourselves may leave us feeling lonely and tired. We know that negative self-talk may only invite more anxiety.
b) Learn to appreciate the little things. Thinking only about the big things without appreciating the little things sometimes can be detrimental. Appreciating the little things in life involves focusing our attention on what is pleasurable, nurturing, and sustaining in our lives and away from those events that are annoying, frustrating, or hurtful. It means practicing gratitude for those everyday things that are easy to take for granted or miss altogether. Adopting this outlook won’t stop negative events from occurring, but it may help prevent us from over-emphasizing their importance in our lives. The best portion of your life will be the small.
c) Mind is the biggest asset. Pure thoughts keep the mind peaceful and happy. Weakness is nothing to be ashamed of. But strength is no reason for pride, either. Thief Cries, Catch the Thief! Empty pots make the most noise.
Give the best gift to the world by training, or by example.
d) Do your work. Don't blame, don't complain, never be lazy. Do your best for the society even there is no one to appreciate. No need to be showy.
e) Keep your ego in check. Work hard, be nice, don't wait for approval of other people, don't follow the crowd.
