Barrenness of Busy Life

Beware the barrenness of a busy life.

As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude (isolation, loneliness) will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness.

Slow down and enjoy life. It’s not only the scenery you miss by going too fast, you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.

Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.

We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical (suspicious). Our cleverness has made us hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost ….

Being successful means having a balance of success stories across the many areas of your life. You can’t truly be considered successful in your business life if your home life is in shambles (chaos).
