There is no nourishment like happiness - it's an elixir. There is no sickness like sorrow - it's a poison. The experience of true happiness cures the sickness of sorrow. A cheerful face goes a long way towards making everything better!
Our inner orchestra is made up of different instruments. These instruments are our memories, desires, tendencies, mind, beliefs, emotions, feelings, fears, intuition, judgments, creativity, our imagination…
Who is the director of this orchestra? You. Who are you? You – the consciousness, you – the soul, you – the being. When you direct your inner orchestra well, you can remain unaffected by external influences. If you, the director of the orchestra, close your eyes for a few moments and cover up your ears, what happens to the orchestra? The voice is not very harmonious or sweet; it is noisy and you suffer.
To make the orchestra play according to the inner voice of your being, according to your purest intentions and values, you simply have to be awake, alert and attentive, and listen with your heart, not with your physical heart but with the heart of your being.

Overcoming the Paralysis of Toxic Shame
When you were born, you cried, and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a manner that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
We must all either wear out or rust out, every one of us. My choice is to wear out.
It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.
The best revenge is not to be like that.
There is good in everything, if only we look for it.
Character is fate.
If you see fraud and do not say fraud, you are a fraud.
Every man I meet is my teacher in some point, and in that I learn of him.
This is not your responsibility but it is your problem.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
You are only entitled to the action, never to its fruits.
Self-sufficiency is the greatest of all wealth.
Tell me to what you pay attention and I will tell you who you are.
Better to trip with the feet than with the tongue.
Space I can recover. Time, never.
You never know who’s swimming naked until the tide goes out.
Search others for their virtues, thyself for thy vices.
The world was not big enough for Alexander the Great, but a coffin was.
To improve is to change, so to be perfect is to have changed often.
Judge not, lest you be judged.
Time and patience are the strongest warriors.
No one saves us but ourselves / No one can and no one may.
