Individual and Society

An invention is a responsibility of the individual, society cannot invent, it can only applaud the invention and inventor.

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.

Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses.

Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions (firmly held beliefs or opinions) to be compassionate (feeling or showing sympathy and concern for others).

If you’re very, very stupid, how can you possibly realize that you’re very, very stupid? You’d have to be relatively intelligent to realize how stupid you are.
