Self-Actualization (Apni Talash)

Self-Actualization (Apni Talash)

There are two type of births; one is natural and other is discovery of purpose. Discovery of your talent, self, self-actualization.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, consisting of physiological (food, residence), safety (survival), social (belongings), esteem, and self-actualization. He says every human being falls somewhere in this triangle of needs.

Majority of people are based on physiological needs. Esteem is identity. Self-actualization is self-recognition. Now if someone abuse him, he will not be affected. Now he keeps himself away from engaging conflicts. Even raw and weak threads on the wings of bird keep it from flying.

On this self-actualization level, you will find two types of people. Careless about themselves and absorbed in their activity. Michelangelo (Italy) was so absorbed in painting for 15 days that his skin also teared along with his shoes.
Some moved to pleasure of Almighty. They overcome their greedy nature.

Discover your God-Gifted capabilities. Albert Einstein says, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” We forget, who we are? Look at your own weaknesses / shortcomings and work on it. Delve (dig, search inside) into your soul and there seek your life’s buried tracks. Discover your passion and self. He who knows himself, knows his Lord. You can make your recognition by contribution or service, not by position. Follow your passion, discover yourself. Then serve the creation.
Following three questions are very important:
Who am I?

What is purpose of my creation?

When I will leave this world, what would be my accomplishment?

This is journey of great people. Every day is the test of previous day. It’s your inquisitiveness; eagerness to learn; thirst for knowledge; appetite for knowledge; desire to know; lust for learning; which make you different from others and then nature provides the answer.

Some people are not serious, they even forget their own question after a while. Some people are imprisoned mentally. If you are true to yourself, don’t justify your weaknesses. Truly hate your weaknesses and make true hope with the supervision of Allah SWT. If your mother is not alive then seek refuge in sincere repentance. If you accept and confess your fault and try to correct self, you will find the way back to self-actualization. Self-actualization is a journey for sincere, committed people. It’s not business of hypocrite, many face, liar ones.
